Atento Capital

Atento Capital, a Tulsa-based investment firm whose mission is to help creative young entrepreneurs get their start, approached 1Architecture about converting a 1930s brick building into a thriving new work space that exemplified their philosophy. Completed in 2022, this 5,000 sf adaptive reuse project created 18 fully enclosed offices, several small break-out meeting spaces, a large community table for working and entertaining, as well as a large conference room. Two large areas of brick were surgically removed from the façade to allow for additional daylight into the building and blur the boundary between inside and out. 1Architecture, seeing the potential of the adjacent exterior space, designed an elevated patio and an eye-catching outdoor feature stair. Other unique amenities include a hidden speakeasy with a ‘Scooby Doo’ bookcase door and wall taps with libations, cold brew coffee, and multiple types of water. A dozen different artists were commissioned to provide inspiration throughout the office. The art integrates with the architecture to shape a truly one-of-a-kind workspace.
